Description

Dill Pickle Cheese Ritz Bites are a delicious and easy no-cook appetizer perfect for parties or snacks. These bite-sized sandwiches combine creamy cheddar and cream cheese with tangy dill pickles and fresh dill, all sandwiched between crispy Ritz crackers for a savory treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese Mixture

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Assembly

  • 1 box Ritz crackers

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and shredded sharp cheddar until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  2. Add Flavorings: Stir in the finely chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, fresh or dried dill, garlic powder, and black pepper until fully integrated.
  3. Assemble the Bites: Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture onto one Ritz cracker. Top with another cracker to form a sandwich. Repeat the process with the remaining crackers and filling.
  4. Chill: Place the assembled bites in the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger tangy flavor, substitute extra-sharp cheddar or add an additional teaspoon of pickle juice.
  • These bites can be made up to one day in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
