- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk the melted and cooled unsalted butter with the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
- Combine Wet and Dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl and gently stir just until combined. Be careful not to overmix to keep the muffins tender.
- Fill Muffin Cups: Evenly divide the batter among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full for proper rising.
- Bake: Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve: Remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool slightly before removing from the tin and serving.
Notes
- You can customize these muffins by adding chocolate chips, blueberries, or chopped nuts before baking.
- For a bakery-style finish, sprinkle the tops with a bit of sugar just before placing them in the oven.
- Make sure not to overmix the batter to keep the muffins light and fluffy.
