Description

Cane’s Chicken Finger Dip is a creamy, cheesy, and savory appetizer that blends chopped breaded chicken fingers with cream cheese, bacon, and a tangy chicken finger sauce. Baked to bubbly perfection and topped with melted cheddar cheese, this dip is perfect for parties or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Mixture

  • 2 cups chopped breaded chicken fingers
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chicken finger sauce
  • ½ cup cooked chopped bacon
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) to prepare for baking the dip.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the chopped cooked chicken fingers, softened cream cheese, cooked chopped bacon, chicken finger sauce, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to create a creamy, flavorful mixture.
  3. Prepare baking dish: Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish, then pour the chicken mixture into it, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top for a golden cheesy crust.
  4. Bake the dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the cheese on top is melted and slightly golden brown.

Notes

  • You can substitute the chicken finger sauce with a combination of ketchup and mayonnaise if unavailable.
  • For an extra spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce to the mixture.
  • This dip pairs well with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or toasted bread slices.
  • Let the dip cool slightly before serving to avoid burns.
